Seclusion with a view to remember
Little Sydney Stay is situated on an elevated lifestyle farmlet, in the foothills
of Motueka at the top of New Zealand's South Island.
Your days will begin with the sunrise over Tasman Bay, bringing light to D'Urville
Island and the Marlborough Sounds, lifting the mist off the land and signalling
the start of a new day.
To the south east are views to the Richmond Ranges, surrounding horticultural
farmland and Motueka township on the coastal plain.
Little Sydney accommodation is central to three of New Zealand's best National
Parks: Abel Tasman, Kahurangi and, a bit further afield, Nelson Lakes National
Park.
Country Living with Sea Views over Tasman Bay
Little Sydney Stay was architecturally designed for sun and views.
Maximising the use of natural light and passive heating techniques makes for
light and spacious living.
The region's clear air and amazing visibility combine to give you the best
al-fresco dining out on the deck.
Large windows and a prominent hilltop position ensure lots of natural daylight
and give a feeling of being right in the great outdoors.
A stylish modern décor and quality furnishings give simple, yet ample, comfort
and appeal.
Private Self-Contained Accommodation
Large glass sliding doors open out on to a sunny deck, with dining furniture,
and the view over the Nelson Tasman region.
The deck is ideal for wining and dining late into the evening so kick back
with one of the local region's award winning wines and relax, listen and soak
up the ambience.
There is a private back lawn with a native bush backdrop populated by native
birds.
We have only one chalet so as our only guests, privacy and seclusion are assured.
Cook in
A smart open-plan, fully-appointed kitchen makes meal preparation enjoyable.
There are plenty of locally grown fruit and vegetables, so relax and cook
at home whilst reflecting on the day's events.
A gas BBQ is also available outside to complement those long summer evenings.
The accommodation has a small organic kitchen garden which you are more than
welcome to take fresh produce from. We are fortunate to have a natural spring
water supply.
Guest laundry facilities are available on site.
And at Night
There is a spacious double bedroom with a comfortable queensize flexislate
bed and quality cotton bedding & linen.
In the open-plan lounge there are two single beds with a modern sofa-bed for
that extra person.
There is also a television, hi-fi and telephone with internet connection.
The Niceties
In the bathroom there is a bath, European style shower, heated towel rail
and a hair dryer.
Complimentary tea and coffee await your arrival.
Serviced daily or as required if you want the privacy.
